    Class Structure: Loosening and Conditioning, Forms Instruction and Practice, Partner Work

    Qi Gong Basic Curriculum: Ba Duan Jin (The 8 Brocades), Yi Jin Jing (Tendon Changing Classic), Shi San Shi Luohan (13 Luohan Sequence)

    Shaolin Basic Curriculum: Wu Bu Quan (5 Stance Fist), Shi San Quan (13 Fists), Xiao Hong Quan (Small Flooding Fist)

    Advanced Practice: Wing Chun, Weapons, Internal Practice (Nei Gong)

    Integrate the Ancient Wisdom Hidden in These Timeless Practices

    The practices and concepts taught in this class originate from Shaolin, Tai Chi, Wing Chun and other systems of Chinese Kung Fu and Taoist Yoga. Traditionally these practices were aimed at helping practitioners achieve skill, health, success and inner peace. Our path is no less ambitious.

     

    Through group and individual practice you will develop strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Through partner work and sensitivity training you will learn how to relax into your body and play with dynamic forces.

     

    Qi Gong and Shaolin forms are the foundation of this Kung Fu practice. Side by side they teach the student how to breath and move in harmony. They give students deeper access to their bodies so they can learn to move slowly, quickly and smoothly with balance, posture and power.

     

    This class emphasizes foundational training and becoming excellent at the basics. This is not a fighting class. You will learn to move, breathe, think and feel differently.

     

    For students who wish to go beyond the foundation, advanced training is available in Wing Chun (a close quarter martial art from Southern China) and Nei Gong (Taoist exploration of internal energy work and cultivation).

     

    In person class focus shifts month to month to cover the span of the curriculum. An online library of tutorial videos is available for enrolled students to support self study.

     

    This class is beginner friendly and for adults of all ages.
